IRide4Sue is a group of family and friends of Sue Veltre-Hulse.

Sue was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma (brain cancer) in January of 2011. She underwent 2 surgeries, radiation and chemo along with a number other treatments. Most of the time she was optimistic, but there was always a gray cloud following her.

In 2013, she found a lump in her breast and was diagnosed with breast cancer. She felt she didn't have time to deal with this and decided to have both breasts removed. Once everything was healed she did go ahead with breast reconstruction since the brain cancer seemed to be under control.

In the Fall of 2014 she took a turn for the worse and so began her decline. In the end she was surrounded by family and friends and her life slipped away. She was only 53 when diagnosed and the best years of her life were taken away. On March 25th, after a 5 year battle with brain cancer Sue passed away.

Since 2011, IRide4Sue has ridden as Team Gray Matter and worked to support Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center's fund raiser Cycle for Survival. Our team has raised over $130,000 and 100% of these funds go directly to research within 6 months.

MSKCC and Cycle for Survival has raised over $5,700,000 this year alone and over $145,000,000 since it started in 2007.

Please support this cause so that new treatments and possible cures will be there to give hope to those yet to come.

Please make a gift to support our ride against cancer if you can - every donation, regardless of size, will make a difference. Click the button Cycle for survival logo at the top of the page (or wait 30 seconds) to access my fundraising page, where you can make a 100% tax-deductible online donation. Thank you for your support!
